Topic: Implementing the 2022 Revised Entry-Level Competencies for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy
Session description: This session will introduce participants to the 2022 Entry-Level Competencies in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy, recently published by the APTA Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy. We will describe how the competencies were created and how the competencies can be incorporated into a DPT education program with application to both the didactic and clinical education curricula. A model of using the competencies to bridge graduates into roles as clinicians will round out this session.
